I know! It's not strictly a Bicolano food, far from it. But whenever the mood strikes and asparagus does not cost an arm and a leg, It's the simplest to prepare and you don't even need a very expensive oven. An oven toaster will do.
Prepare the asparagus by removing the hard part of the stem. Then divide the asparagus into 5 - 6 inch parts.
Gather about 3 to 5 stalks together (depending on how thick they are. Wrap a slice of bacon over each bunch.
Season with salt and pepper then put in baking tray. Bake for 5 minutes or until bacon is cooked.
