Baduya and Kalingking


Merienda or snacks are always a big deal when you are growing up.
As far as meriendas go, we crave for sweet potato and banana fritters.
To cook:
Prepare the batter by mixing together rice flour and a small amount of water. It should not be watery but fluid enough to coat the banana and sweet potato pieces.. Adjust amount of water until you get the desired consistency.
Slice the sweet potato into fingers.
Slice each banana into three pieces.
Dip the banana/sweet potato into the batter and arrange on leaf.
Deep fry.
